Oklahoma Dog Faked Homelessness to Get Free Burgers

A dog in Oklahoma now has become a viral sensation.

Why? Because her owner caught the hungry pooch in the act of sneaking off to a local McDonald’s to score free hamburgers from any stranger she could.

Earlier in the week, Betsy Reyes of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, posted a note on Facebook that her dog, Princess (shown above), had been leaving her home at night on her own and heading to the closest fast-food restaurant for some tasty snacks, as Fox News and other outlets reported Thursday and Friday.

The dog acted “like she’s a stray so people will feel bad for her & feed her burgers,” Reyes wrote in the post.

She also called her dog a “gold digger.”

By Thursday afternoon, the post from Reyes had more than 290,000 reactions and 270,000 shares.

“If you see my dog @ the McDonald’s … quit feeding her fat a** [because] she [doesn’t] know how to act … She [leaves] the house all the time to go walking to McDonald’s at night. She’s not even a stray dog,” Reyes explained in her post.

This past Monday, Reyes decided to follow her dog to the local McDonald’s to see exactly what was going on — and how the dog was going about this rather interesting nighttime activity.

There, she caught Princess “approaching a stranger’s car and begging the driver for food,” as Fox News noted, and as the video made clear.
